The sad state of affairs at KISSATA

The KISSATA concept is elegantly simple. The man who developed the concept, "Commander Klick" manifested a measure of genius. The focus is on developing armed and prepared local teams with the goals of maintaining the integrity of family and community in the event of government failure and/or disaasters. The primary identified threat is terrorists. Cooperation with law enforcement and the military is emphasized. The web forum has been around for about 5 years and is a treasure trove of great information and advice. Well, much of it, anyway. Point is, it is well worth several site visits. Problem is, there is little evidence of significant growth in terms of numbers of forum contributors and group gatherings over the last 3 to 4 years. This makes no sense to me. The utter practicality and relative simplicity of the KISSATA concept lends itself to having great potential to grow at a rapid rate. I can only conclude that there has been a failure to adequately assess the marketability of the concept and follow thorough with the results of such assessment. The personalities who dominate the postings on the forum do not appear to be oriented towards effectively spreading the KISSATA concept. There was an opportunity for significant funding of a national PR campaign about 8 months ago but an idiot who uses the handle M4Trigger on the forum blew that completely out of the water with some remarkably juvenile insults and lies. The failure of the administrator to effectively address the issue sealed the matter permanently. I continue to be amazed at how easily fools can screw up a perfectly functional concept. I know of at least 3 and maybe 4 local teams that follow the KISSATA concept yet who do not formally identify with KISSATA or post on the forum, largely because of the above mentioned foul ups.
