Matt had a military funeral today at Tahoma National Cemetery. The delay was due to the need to transport his body from Arizona. I was awed by the number of his comrades from Charlie Company of his Stryker battalion who showed from all over the US, including his platoon leader. The Washington State Guard honor guard did an outstanding job of conducting the ceremony. He was buried in Class A greens. Those three rounds are a shock, no matter how many times I experience it.
